During the Spring term, Year 3 study weather. We use cloud viewers to look at the clouds and classify them. Scientists classify clouds by their height (low, medium and high) and by whether they are flat (stratus), puffy (cumulus), rain-filled (nimbus) or a combination of these characteristics.
