Reddiford V St. Margaret’s School – Monday 11th November
The Year 5 and 6 children always enjoy the opportunity to visit St. Margaret’s sports centre and play in their lovely indoor sports hall. As the games progressed they adapted well to the vastness of the court and the multicoloured lines!
The Year 6 children displayed an excellent team performance and after an even first third and some tactical changes, their experience of playing together started to become apparent. They did very well to score six goals in the full-sized posts and these were shared by several players. Particularly well done to Georgia and Tishe who were involved with almost every passage of play and created a very solid defence.
The Year 5 children made a very strong start to their match and scored three goals in quick succession. After half time they swapped positions to allow those children who had seen less action in defence to become more involved in the match and adapted very well to their different roles. Particularly well done to Yuv who was playing in his first netball match and to Siya for the excellent goals she scored.
Miss Crawford
