Y3 and Y4 Netball v Alpha

Year 3 and 4 Netball V Alpha – Tuesday 19th November

The Year 3 and 4 girls had a very close fixture with Alpha on Tuesday 18th November and learnt a lot about how to read the game and making decisions to benefit the team. Many of the Year Three children were playing in their first ever netball match and they did very well to keep up with the fast-paced game and try to apply all that they have been learning in Games lessons and Netball Club.

The first team to play had a particularly close match and the alternating goal scoring from each team made it very exciting to umpire and spectate. Particularly well done to Annika for scoring all of the Reddiford goals and to the central players for their useful interceptions and thoughtful passes. Well done to Diya who was playing in her first netball match.

The second team to play also did very well and had a balanced game where goals were more elusive, although Rhea and Asha created a lot of opportunities in the semi-circle. Well done to Nimmi and Jashika who were playing in their first competitive match and did well to try and mark their players.
